Film follows the life of five Czech and Slovak households on December 24 and 25. As the folk saying goes, on Christmas Eve, the Christmas wind brings disease from the west, war from the east, hunger after midnight, and a good year after noontime. The 24 hours are then edited by automated algorithms.
Recorded in collaboration with Stanislav Abrahám, Kateřina Bílková, Hannes Hoelz, David Landa, Michal Kindernay and Magda Kobzová.
Live film/video manipulation, a duo with Kateřina Zochová (harp, electronics). Super8 viewer, QuartzComposer.

Mikroloops is a/v event, live cinema, noise-ambient, improvisation, 16mm screening, optical toys, diy instruments, stroboscopic imagery, sound engeneering, realitime sampling, open-ended performance.
